SURF SCHOOL OF GRAN CANARIA

Teh canarian Islands are considered as the European Hawai. The surf school Gran Canair a offers you the oportiunity to have an unforgetable and unique experience in a safe and pleasant surrounding. We are situated in Playa del Ingles, a zone where the average temperature is 22°C, which is very favorable for practising watersports, especially the surfing.

Our school is a mobile surf school, usually the surfinglessons are been held in the South of the island ( Playa del Ingles, San Agustin, Faro de Maspalomas, and a lot more spots in this zone), although we also make excursions to find the best waves for that day; like for example Playa del Hombre, the famous Playa de Las Canteras or the beautifull coast along the North fukk with amasing waves.

The clients will be picked up from the whole zone San Agustin , Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas and Meloneras in between 9.00 a.m and 9.30 a.m.

We make use of first class materials, especially to make it easier to learn to surf, with boards of all types ( Swell of rubber, Bic of epoxy and board of fibre), surfsuits against the cold in all sizes. Our courses and instructors fulfil all the requirements for safety and are ideal for all ages and skills.

Our onstructors are diplomated by The British Surfing Association (B.S.A.) and in first aid in the water, with them you will feel completely safe...they help you with taking the fisrt steps ins this great sport or perfectionise your surfingskills, depending on yoour level. We have a very effective PROGRAMA , completely for begginig whit this sport and also for average and advanced surfers.

*When you have finished the five-day course you have learned: how the differents running are being formed, the waves, the trade winds, the storms and all the safetysikills with you must have developed for this sport...rowing in a correct way on your board, to get waves, stand up in the foam, hold up your balance on the board, brake, accelerate, turn towards the right and the left, pass the barrier of foam, the differents types of boards and what size is appropiated so that your surfing keeps haveing progress easily, etc.....
