GASTRONOMY
One of the most popular food is the Gofio,
corn grain or toasted, well-trodden wheat. Papas arrugadas
con mojo picon , are small unpeeled canarian potatoes coged
in a little bit of water and generously salted. They are
served with mojo picon (simole cold sauce in general spicy).
Starters:
-Puchero Canario (vegetable soup with meat).
-Rancho (soup with meat, vermicelli and chickpeas).
-Caldo de Papas (clear soup of potatoes, with or with corn).
-Potaje (canarian soup).
Traditional dishes:
-Sancocho: salty fish, normally cherne.
-Carajacas: liver with sauce.
Meats:
-Pork, goat and rabbit, usually prepared in a dressing.
Fish:
-Cherne, sardine, sama, vieja, caranx, etc...

The gastronomy of Gran Canaria is the same as in the rest
of the Archipielago, it?s autochthonous and healty.
The meat we can emphasize the goat pork and rabbit. We are
making different recipes with them.
